Resident Evil: Afterlife is an upcoming 3D science fiction horror film written and directed by Paul W. S. Catherine (Julianne Moore) and David Stewart (Liam Neeson) are a professional married couple who have a 17-year-old son, Michael (Max Thieriot), and live in Toronto, Ontario. To an outsider, they have everything, but in reality, both their careers and raising a troubled teen have put strains on their marriage and all forms of communication have been lost. When David misses a flight home from New York and, as a result, a surprise party that Catherine has planned for him, her suspicions are raised when he can’t give her a legitimate excuse. Meeting regularly with Chloe, Catherine absorbs the explicit stories Chloe shares of her encounters with David, igniting Catherine’s jealousy and awakening long-dormant sensations. Review: Case 39 is an upcoming American/Canadian horror film directed by Christian Alvart and starring actress Renée Zellweger and young Canadian actress Jodelle Ferland. The film was shot in Vancouver in late 2006, and was scheduled to be released in August 2008, but it was pushed back to April 10, 2009, but now the film’s domestic release date is January 1, 2010. The film released in the UAE on November 5, 2009. It is scheduled to be distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film is rated R for violence and terror including disturbing images.

It’s a comedy, suspense and fantasy filipino (pinoy) movie that will shake, rattle and roll to avid movie goers.

Plot/synopsis: Nieves is the town’s famous and well-loved Engkanto Slayer. After the tragic loss of her husband Adonis (Mike “Pekto” Nacua), Nieves (Marian Rivera) resigns from her post as Engkanto Slayer. When strange and unexplainable attacks began to strike the whole town, Nieves is forced to resume her job as Engkanto Slayer. She, together with her slayers in training: Junie (Robert Villar) and Kaycee (Jennica Garcia) must team up to save the townsfolk from extinction. But everything begins to turn ugly as Kaysee is revealed to be Acacia (Diana Zubiri), Nieves’s rival for Adonis. Soon a confrontation occurred between them that leads to Acacia’s death and the restoration of peace at the townsfolk.

Review: The Fourth Kind is a science fiction/thriller/horror film directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, and starring Milla Jovovich. The film is purported to be a documentary reenactment set in Nome, Alaska, and deals with alien abductions. The title is derived from J. Allen Hynek’s classification of close encounters with aliens, in which the fourth kind denotes an alien abduction.

Plot/Synopsis: In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. This encounter has been the most difficult to document…until now.

Structured unlike any film before it, “The Fourth Kindis” a provocative thriller set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, where—mysteriously since the 1960s—a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year.
