Scott Pilgrim vs The World is an upcoming action comedy adventure fantasy movie starring Michael Cera as Scott W. Pilgrim. The movie is presented by Universal Pictures and expected to release on August 13, 2010.

The story of this movie started in Toronto, 23-year-old Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is the bass guitarist for the band Sex Bob-omb and has just met the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). Scott learns that he must battle Ramona’s seven evil exes, who are coming to kill him, to finally win Ramona’s heart. As Scott gets closer to Ramona, his encounters include skateboarders, vegan rock stars, and identical twins. To stay with Ramona, Scott must vanquish all of the seven evil exes before they defeat him.

The film is based on the Oni Press graphic novel Scott Pilgrim Volume 1: Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life, written by Bryan Lee O’Malley.

The movie Ramona and Beezus is a family – comedy movie that will touch the heart of the viewer. Ramona and Beezus is one wonderful movie and a must see movie of the month. The Ramona and Beezus movie started to Beatrice “Beezus” Quimby (Selena Gomez)  is a girl who deals with her pesky sister Ramona Quimby (Joey King). She is given the nickname Beezus by Ramona because the latter could not say Beatrice when she first learned to talk. Beezus is frequently annoyed or embarrassed by Ramona’s behavior throughout the story. In one case, Ramona writes in a library book that Beezus then has to purchase. In another, Ramona ruins Beezus’ checker game withHenry Huggins’s and locks his dog Ribsy, Henry’s dog, in the bathroom. Henry leaves and Beezus becomes angry. She also invites 4 friends over without her mother’s permission. Later in the story, she ruins Beezus’ birthday cake.

Beezus often feels guilty because she knows she is supposed to love Ramona, but has a hard time with that. While she tries to read to her and care for her, she often gets mad about the things Ramona does. Beezus ask her mom if she was like Ramona. Their mother tells her that she was different, for example quieter. This pleases Beezus, who sometimes dislikes Ramona (as Ramona is very noisy). Then Mrs. Quimby explained how she and Beatrice their aunt was very different. Beezus begins to think about her mom and aunt and how much they love each other and realizes that Ramona is not such a bad sister after all.

The planet earth is compose of 4 elements the Air, Water, Earth and Fire.The story of  The Last Airbender start with this four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole is an upcoming computer-animated film based on the series of children’s fantasy booksGuardians of Ga’Hoole by Kathryn Lasky. Zack Snyder is directing the film, and Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachael Taylor, David Wenham, and Emilie de Ravin voice the characters. It’s not the best of qualities, but it is indeed the first trailer for the live-action “Tekken” movie from director Dwight H. Little, which has popped up online. From the trailer, the film’s lead looks like Jin Kazama, played by newcomer Jon Foo, who apparently had a role in “Universal Soldier: Regeneration”, though I don’t recall seeing him in the movie. The female lead looks like Kelly Overton, here playing Christie Monteiro. The cast also includes MMA fighter Cung Le, Luke Goss, Gary Daniels, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Ian Anthony Dale, Chiaki Kuriyama, and Tamlyn Tomita. If you’re a fan of the game, this might interest you. If not, it probably won’t.

The main part of the Tekken story revolves around the Mishima and Kazama family, with most of the other characters playing their part in some way, and being indirectly involved in the main story’s events. Each Tekken game follows on the story from where the last game left off and each game makes the story more intriguing and interesting. The storyline also affects which characters will appear in the next game, as there have been quite a few deaths (and occasional reprises) or events that mean that a character can no-longer fight, such as Baek-Do-San’s, and Jun Kazama’s.

The main Tekken story revolves around a fighting tournament – The King of Iron Fists, which is staged by the Mishima Zaibatsu group, fronted by Heihachi Mishima. The tournament invites the best and strongest fighters from around the world, in all forms of martial arts. On occasion, some animals and supernatural beings have been allowed to enter (such as Kuma the bear, and Ogre).

After winning the first tournament, Kazuya takes charge of the Mishima Empire, and it is believed that Heihachi is dead. During this time, Jun (Kazuya’s partner) gives birth to their sun; Jin Kazama. Jin is unfortunate to be cursed with the family’s Devil gene that has been passed down from generation to generation, and swallows good warriors up in evil.

Eventually, Jin grows up and enters the tournament himself, where he learns that Heihachi is his grandfather. The Tekken story continues with Heihachi shooting Jin, before Jin transforms into Devil, and defeats Heihachi. The Tekken story clearly has it’s roots in Japanese anime, and this can be seen in the character design, the story’s themes, and the long, drawn-out fights that are seen.

The plot of this movie is about  a wizard (Nicolas Cage) trains a reluctant protege (Jay Baruchel) in the art of magic to help him protect New York from a powerful adversary (Alfred Molina).

Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It’ll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” Don’t miss to watch this very exciting movie on theater.
