The Easy A movie started with a clean-cut high-schooler Olive Penderghast (Emma Stone) agrees to pretend that she lost her virginity to her gay friend, Brandon (Dan Byrd). Several boys learn what she has done and beg her to perform the same service for them, hoping to gain some of her newfound fame. This eventually turns into a full-fledged business, lucrative and socially beneficial for Olive, enough so to gain the ire of her rival, Marianne (Amanda Bynes), who doesn’t like the attention she’s getting. Marianne therefore starts a string of rumors in order to bring down Olive’s reputation and force her to leave the school. Olive’s life begins to resemble that of Hester Prynne in Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter. Olive then decides to use the rumors to her own advantage, affixing a red A to her clothing in reference to the embattled heroine of the novel.

Kate (Hayden Panettiere) and Humphrey (Justin Long) are two wolves from the same pack in Canada’s Jasper National Park, but on opposite ends of the social order. Kate, daughter of the main alpha male, is herself an Alpha and does what one should: taking her duty and commitment to the pack seriously. Humphrey, on the other hand, is an Omega wolf, the lowest of the pack, and spends his days making jokes and playing about with his other Omega friends. One day, Kate is arranged to mate with the Alpha male of a rival pack to preserve peace. However, both Kate and Humphrey are sedated and taken far away from home to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area in Idaho where they are expected to repopulate their species. Scott Pilgrim vs The World is an upcoming action comedy adventure fantasy movie starring Michael Cera as Scott W. Pilgrim. The movie is presented by Universal Pictures and expected to release on August 13, 2010.

The story of this movie started in Toronto, 23-year-old Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is the bass guitarist for the band Sex Bob-omb and has just met the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). Scott learns that he must battle Ramona’s seven evil exes, who are coming to kill him, to finally win Ramona’s heart. As Scott gets closer to Ramona, his encounters include skateboarders, vegan rock stars, and identical twins. To stay with Ramona, Scott must vanquish all of the seven evil exes before they defeat him.
